About the beer

One of our home-brewmasters at The Stinky Pinky Gulp N’Guzzle Big Rig Snooze-A-Stop loves English style beers. Old Peculier is one of that has been around the states for quite a while and it’s a staple of British beer making. The final product, with the addition of a few water treatment chemicals to harden the water, was something we were most pruod of.

We added molasses to this old ale to subdue some of the high bitterness rate thus creating that “Old Peculier” character. Bizarro turned out a darker ale with strong sweetness, a malty body, and apparent, but not aggressive, hop bitterness. A nice medium body with sticky sweet and toasted bread aromas round up beautiful beer.
